Welcome to the Washington DC Chapter of the American
Physical Therapy Association! Our
nation’s capitol is an exciting, and beautifully inspiring place to live and work. This area attracts leaders and professionals from all over the country, contributing to a great diversity of talent, and a unique culture found nowhere else. Our chapter is a collection of just these type of physical therapy professionals, and reflects the inspiring culture of this great city.

to offer. Our size allows tremendous networking opportunities and you’ll find it’s easy to make the professional connections you need for your
professional development and your practice. Our
mission is to promote advocacy, service, and dissemination of knowledge to our membership, the profession, and the community at large. Our ability
to accomplish this mission comes directly from the strength of our members. Our members come from a wide array of settings from DC’s various private
practices, rehabilitation and acute care hospitals, and research centers. Our various networking events
provide great ways to connect with colleagues and forge relationships that will help carry you into the future.
